Workshop on Asian Markets and Ivory Coast Market

EBCAM Secretary General attended the informative workshop on the opportunities of business presence in Asia Minor and Ivory Coast organised by the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Hellenic-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Hellenic-Asian Business Council, in collaboration with the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN-HELLAS 2025).
The event took place on Monday, June 10, 2024, 12.00-15.00 at the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where the markets of the Philippines, South Korea, Singapore, Indonesia, Japan and Thailand were presented. Speakers were ambassadors, Commercial Attachés from Embassies and a representative from the German Chamber of Commerce who provided information on the economic and business environment in the above countries, focused on sectors with prospects for growth, highlighted opportunities for commercial, investment and other forms of cooperation and gave useful tips on approaching and networking in local markets. There was also a presentation for the protection of copyright in India by a representative of the European Commission.
The aim of the event was to inform executives of Greek companies about opportunities for activity in these markets and based on the interest to plan the next business mission in Asia for the sole purpose of holding B2B meetings with local companies.
Also, after the Asian markets in the last part of the workshop (15.00-15.40) a special presentation was held for the market in Ivory Coast by representatives of the Hellenic-Iborian Chamber, which referred to the characteristics, perspectives and areas of bilateral cooperation with this market.
