Throughout the different panel sessions, the following key issues were addressed:

  • The importance of developing resilient agricultural and food systems in the continent to secure political stability and market perseverance.
  • The relevance of innovative financing models and debt relief mechanisms in facilitating economic prosperity.
  • The need for Euro-African partnerships to shift from traditional development aid to trade, with complementarity between ODA and investments through Blended Finance.
  • The importance of expanding private sector participation to drive long-term development through the Global Gateway
  • The potential of infrastructure investment in creating economic growth.
  • The benefits of integrating Raw Materials supply chain processing to enhance local value addition.
