Date: 9-10 March 2022

Sheraton Grand London Park Lane

The Ministry of International Cooperation and the Promotion of Public-Private Partnerships of the Republic of Congo invited you to join them at their the roadshow event at the Sheraton Grand London Park Lane, in London.

The main objective of this event is to present the economic opportunities in Congo available to investors and businesses willing to take part in the development of the country.

On May 2021, the Ministry of International Cooperation and Promotion of PublicPrivate Partnership was created to broaden the horizon of international economic cooperation to countries that have the capacity to contribute to the development of the Republic of Congo.

This new ministerial department is intended above all as a lever for the economic and social development of the Congo, which will be focused on its two main driving forces: international cooperation and publicprivate partnership.

This is why, in order to make economic diplomacy a real tool that contributes to the development and social progress of our country, the Minister of International Cooperation and Promotion of PublicPrivate Partnership, Mr. Denis Christel Sassou Nguesso, has developed a roadmap with several high value-added actions that have one main objective: to stimulate the investment of foreign partners and national or international private companies in projects aimed at consolidating and sustaining the inclusive economic growth of Congo.

These actions include, among others, the organization of roadshows “Congo, land of opportunities” in order to present the potential of the Congo in the context of investments in publicprivate partnerships and to conduct a strategic watch on the issue of PPPs for optimal results. Specifically, it will be to travel to countries with real economic potential to present to economic actors the opportunities of the Congo in priority sectors identified by the Ministry. These destinations meet certain criteria including:
• Economic and financial attractiveness;
• The interest for foreign investments in PPP;
• The presence of viable economic players and first-class investment funds;
• The strong investment capacity of these economic actors in high value-added projects including BOT;
• The financing of investment funds with incentive conditions.
