The European Business Council for Africa

19 February 2026

22 KammakargatanStockholm, Stockholms län, 111 40 Sweden

Many of our members have a strong interest in sustainable (green) business opportunities in Africa. We are therefore pleased to invite you to our first Green City Cluster Meeting of the year, taking place on February 19.

This session will focus on electrifying transport in Kenya, Ethiopia, and Uganda, highlighting innovative projects and concrete developments within the East African e-mobility ecosystem.

For investors and stakeholders, proof of concept and strong case studies are essential. During the meeting, Intro:Africa will showcase several compelling projects, supported by Thought Leaders Africa and NABA (Norway). One of the featured initiatives is Road to Africa (Road to Addis), a pioneering electric vehicle project connecting regions across Africa.

Participants will also hear more about the project’s progress, as well as the upcoming Nordic Africa EV Summit, scheduled to take place in both Norway and Ethiopia.

Building on insights from previous Green City meetings—where we explored Roam Electric in Kenya—we will this time take a closer look at:

  • LM International’s involvement in Green Hub East Africa
  • An e-mobility initiative in Uganda, known as the EV BodaBoda Taxi Riders project

This public-private partnership (PPP) brings together LM International, Danida, Kjaer Group (Denmark), Nexus Green, Green Hub, Redverse, and Women Rising for Africa, demonstrating a strong collaborative approach to sustainable transport solutions.

Overall, the meeting will present a distinctly Nordic perspective on green business development in East Africa, with practical examples and partnership models.

We warmly welcome you to join us on February 19.
