Join the Netherlands Entreprise Agency (RVO), the Dutch Embassy in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), and the NABC on 1st of July for the Poultry Without Borders seminar on Connecting Poultry Value Chains in the Netherlands and Democratic Republic of Congo.
- In close collaboration with the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) and the Dutch Embassy in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), the NABC is organising an engaging afternoon seminar on the 1st of July from 13:30-18:00 PM CEST at the Mercure Hotel Amersfoort Centre. The seminar is aimed at deepening bilateral cooperation between the Netherlands and Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) in the poultry sectorKey programme highlights include:
- An introduction and outline of the current trade and aid agenda in the DRC by the Dutch Government (Dutch Embassy, RVO, Min. of Foreign Affairs, LVVN).
- Insights about recent studies on poultry production, feed, and maize in the DRC by Wageningen University & Research.
- Presentations from Dutch private sector initiatives (e.g. Atradius, Impact Clusters).
- Two parallel breakout sessions:
- Innovations in poultry production
- Feed and local sourcing opportunities
- A networking reception to close the day, offering a chance to meet the Congolese delegation and connect with fellow Dutch stakeholder.
- This seminar is part of the upcoming poultry-focused trade mission from DRC. This seminar offers a unique platform for Dutch companies, knowledge institutions, and sector stakeholders to connect with Congolese counterparts, exchange expertise, and explore business opportunities.
