April 17 , 8:00  – April 18 , 17:00

Brussels, Belgium

The Liberian Business Forum is anchored in Liberia’s foreign policy objective of advancing economic diplomacy. The Business Forum is scheduled to take place in Brussels from April 17-18, 2025 under the direction of Madam Sara Beysolow-Nyanti, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Liberia, National Investment Commission, and coordinated through the Embassy of Liberia in Brussels.

With the theme “The ARTS in the ARREST” (Agriculture, Roads Infrastructure , Tourism and Sanitation), the forum seeks to promote Liberia’s abundant natural resources, its strategic West African location, and investment opportunities in key growth sectors. The event will bring together entrepreneurs, investors, business leaders, and the Liberian diaspora to foster dialogue, partnerships, and support for Liberia’s development goals as well as position Liberia as a prime destination for foreign direct investment.

Investment Landscape in Liberia
Over recent years, Liberia has demonstrated political stability, improved governance and is
implementing progressive reforms to attract investment. The government has prioritized enhancing the legal framework for investors, streamlining business registration, and safeguarding property rights. As a member of various trade agreements, Liberia enjoys preferential access to regional and international markets.

Why “The ARTS”?
The focus on Agriculture, Road Infrastructure, Tourism and Sanitation reflects key pillars of the
ARREST Agenda with direct relevance to the Eurozone, Africa’s closest continental neighbor. These sectors offer significant potential for economic growth, improved livelihoods, and position Liberia as a competitive player in regional and global markets.
