The multi-sector mission will focus on five key sectors:
- Port and intermodal logistics
- Pharma and biotech
- Food
- Renewable energy, water and the environment
- Cultural and creative industries
It follows on from the Royal mission organised in Senegal in May 2023 and remains open to all companies.

Why Senegal and The Gambia ?
Senegal, with its sustained growth, is positioning itself as a regional hub thanks to its investments in infrastructure, energy and agriculture. Growth sectors include logistics, renewable energy and cultural industries, offering attractive opportunities for Belgian companies.
The Gambia, ‘the smiling coast of Africa’, offers opportunities in tourism, agro-industry and renewable energy. With a strategic port in Banjul and an English-speaking environment, it facilitates trade and collaboration for Belgian companies.
