Senegal is characterised by an increased demand for animal protein. With good veterinary care, high quality imported inputs, and continued industrialisation and investment to create a dynamic and efficient poultry sector, Senegal is well-positioned to be considered as your preferred country to do business with.

In close cooperation with the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Dakar, and the Agricultural Network, NABC is, therefore, organising a fact-finding poultry mission to Senegal for March 2023. The mission’s focus encompasses the entire poultry value chain from farm to fork, including but not limited to: education/training and poultry management software, feed production, slaughter and (further) processing of meat, egg processing, cold chain control (including local logistics), and waste management. Dutch technology and expertise can contribute to (further) develop the overall sustainable production of the Senegalise poultry value chain.
