Afrika-Verein has the pleasure to invite you to the Round Table Botswana with Hon. Karabo Gare, Minister of Entrepreneurship. The Ministry of Entrepreneurship was launched last year and the minister will be visiting Germany for the first time. The Ministry's main task is to promote partnerships with businesses and to create an environment for investment and development in Botswana.

Botswana is characterised by its stable politics and democracy. With its population of around 2.6 million, Botswana is not a large market, but within the Southern African Development Community (SADC) it has good relations and economic connections to larger markets such as South Africa. The government is pursuing various programmes to facilitate the entry of international companies into the market.
