Morocco has made impressive progress in its transformation from an agricultural country to a service and industrial society over the last twenty years. The proximity to Europe, a first-class infrastructure and efficient logistics as well as favourable production factors combined with political stability and business-friendly framework conditions are attractive location factors with which Morocco also scores points with German investors. Investment incentives and tax advantages ensure that a wide range of industries, such as the automotive industry, are successful in establishing themselves here. The expansion of renewable energies and the project planning as a location for the production of green hydrogen are developing very dynamically. The industrial development of the country offers a good basis for an engagement in high-tech sectors, especially in topics such as engineering and research & development. Morocco is currently benefiting from the diversification of supply and production chains as a consequence of geopolitical developments in recent years. The country offers itself as a nearshoring location for the integration of modern production structures into European value chains.

At the roundtable, the Moroccan delegation will present Morocco's new investment strategy and would like to discuss with you and us what German companies currently need in order to be able to respond even better to the opportunities offered by the location.
