In partnership with Invest Africa, the AVCA 2022 Annual Conference will be AVCA’s first in-person industry gathering since 2019. And this year, they’re delving deeper and having an open, honest conversation about the future of private equity and venture capital in Africa.

The 18th Annual AVCA Conference has two objectives:

Taking stock of an industry navigating change (facing the hard facts)

Setting out a plan of action to usher in the next wave of private investment in Africa (transformation and recovery)

While the industry has witnessed significant success stories across fundraising and deal-making, there are still challenges such as foreign exchange volatility, political instability, difficult regulatory environments, limited exit options, and the increasing trend of consolidation.
