The European Business Council for Africa

The mobility and technology sectors will meet for the first IAA in Munich from September 7 to 12, 2021. A new venue and a new concept: the IAA 2021 will become an exhibition, a forward-looking mobility platform and a dialog forum all at the same time. Afrika will be part of it, represented by a high-level Africa-event and an information booth by VDAs Partnership-Project with the panafrican Automotive Association AAAM.

On the 8th of September from 9.00 – 10.45 am (CEST) the digital event “IAA Mobility meets Africa” is highlighting the partnership with the African Association for Automotive Manufacturers (AAAM). The African continent is searching for innovative mobility solutions due to an increasing demand and its rapid market growth.

VDA in collaboration with AAAM and the German-African Business Association (Afrika-Verein) are hosting a digital event presenting the current status of the automotive industry in Africa, the implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and its various opportunities for the German automotive industry.
