Manager

 Axel Sointu holds the position of Manager, Partnerships at Finnpartnership. In his current role, the main responsibilities include supporting Finnish companies in positioning themselves vis-a-vis the EU Global Gateway strategy.   

Prior to joining Finnpartnership, he has held roles in strategy consulting, SME networking and internationalization as well as labor market research. Many of his prior responsibilities have focused on countries and markets outside of Europe including working at the Commercial section of the Embassy of Finland to Tunisia.    

Axel holds degrees in International Business and Economics from Åbo Akademi University. He has also studied at the University of Turku (Southeast Asian studies), University of Helsinki (Development studies) and Pantheon Sorbonne University in Paris, France (Economics and French).
