Sara Lolli holds an Advanced Master’s degree in EU Interdisciplinary Studies, with a focus on EU migration governance, from the Institut d’Études Européennes (IEE) of the Université libre de Bruxelles. Previously, she achieved a Master's in Global Politics and International Economic Relations with a thesis on political Islam in Sudan and international security, and a Bachelor's in Foreign Western and Oriental Languages from the University of Macerata (Italy).
Having interned at EBCAM, she has developed a strong enthusiasm for Euro-African relations, particularly in the areas of migrations, trade and sustainability, international cooperation and foreign policy. Her professional background includes an internship at the institutional relations office of the Italian Commissioner for EXPO 2020 Dubai in 2021 as well as extensive experience as a freelance geopolitical analyst, serving on the MENA-Africa editorial board of the Italian think tank Istituto Analisi Relazioni Internazionali (IARI) for over three years. Additionally, she has held the position of Editor-in-Chief at the European Student Think Tank (EST) and worked as a project manager in the civil society sector in Brussels.
Sara speaks Italian, English, French, Portuguese and Standard/Levantine Arabic.
